Monolithic
Lenslet Modules
(MLMs), are arrays of refractive micro lenses. Originally
developed by AOA for Hartmann wavefront sensing, new
applications continue to emerge.
MLM masters are fabricated by a proprietary, computer
controlled mastering process developed at Adaptive Optics
Associates. Many MLMs can be replicated from a single
MLM master.
Features:
- Square,
hexagonal, or random arrays
- Fill

Custom
Arrays
AOA's
proprietary design process allows custom array designs
as large as twelve by twelve inches. The lenslet pitch
can be as small as 15 microns or as large as 4 millimeters.
Other array sizes and lenslet sizes may be developed for
customers on a project basis.
For
customers who would like to explore the design potential
of our arrays prior to a custom fabrication, we offer
a 4 X 4 Sampler.
This acrylic "Sampler" has a variety of micro-optic
arrays compression molded in a 4"x4" acrylic
plastic sheet.
Our
catalog describes our
standard arrays. Nearly 50 MLM master designs can be replicated
in epoxy on a glass substrate or acrylic plastic.
